Jason Sugarman

Jason Sugarman stood against Norman Baker in the May 2010 election which produced an historic coalition between the Conservatives and Liberal Democrats. Jason fought a very straight campaign and reduced the LibDem majority. Jason writes: “I would like to thank everyone who voted Conservative on May 6th even though we were not successful in winning an outright majority; David Cameron and Nick Clegg have worked tirelessly to form a consensus government that will serve this country ahead of party politics. It is my intention to continue to campaign on behalf of residents.”

Get Involved – your views count

Perhaps the events since the General election have awakened or renewed your interest in politics. Our new Prime Minister, David Cameron, is certainly keen to see members of the public take part in building the ‘big society’ that he envisaged. Even though the general election is over, local elections are due to be held in May 2011 when parish, town and district councillors will be selected to serve their areas. So, if you would like to find out more about what is involved or how you can put something back into your community by standing as a Conservative councillor, please contact our agent, Peter Sabine on 01323 489289.

Have Your Say…

Even if you are one of those people who isn’t that interested in politics, the way that politicians spend your money matters to us all. So, please let Jason know what affects you locally and nationally, we’d very much like to hear from you. Please take a few minutes to email Jason with some of the issues that are of concern to you and he will take them up on your behalf. Sign up for Jasons news letter.
