Sugarman Delighted As Honey Farm Development Is Rejected
Jason Sugarman, Conservative parliamentary candidate for Lewes constituency which includes Polegate today commented on the good news that Wealden District Council had voted against the proposed development at Honey Farm in Polegate. Jason Supports Seaford Scouts Event

The event was held in St Leonards Church on Saturday 31st October. Jason Attends Dame Vera Lynn Commemorative Dinner
Jason Sugarman Conservative parliamentary candidate for the Lewes constituency attended the `we’ll meet again commemorative dinner’ held at the Imperial War Museum in London on Saturday evening after receiving a personal invitation from Dame Vera Lynn.The charity dinner was in aid of `The Dame Vera Lynn Trust for children with Cerebral Palsy ‘, the trust was set up in January 2001 to raise funds for the `School for parents’. The school is a support service leading the way in conductive education for pre-school children with cerebral palsy and currently supporting around 60 families. (more…)

This was the last conference before the General Election expected next year. I believe the Conservatives presented themselves as a potential government in waiting with policies on a range of issues. We have an uphill task to win enough seats to ensure a majority for a Conservative government. The party was not celebrating in Manchester; it is not taking anything for granted. There is a serious job to be done and the public need to understand our policies and see our approach to the issues of the day. (more…)

Jason Supports Ringmer Booze Ban Scheme
Jason Sugarman, Conservative parliamentary candidate for the Lewes Constituency which includes the village of Ringmer, supported actions by Sussex police and the local council to try and tackle alcohol-fuelled antisocial behaviour in Ringmer. A decision has been made to enforce a designation order regarding a public booze ban for the village, which will mean that police officers will be able to ask people who are drinking in the street to stop and hand over their alcohol or face a fine of £500.
