Labour’s NHS cuts are threatening our local hospitals. Vital services at both the Eastbourne District General Hospital and the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath are under threat from closure. Jason supports the NHS and wants our hospitals protected. “Local hospitals save lives,” says Jason. “I don’t want heart attack victims dying because they could not get to hospital in time because the local hospital has been shut. Gordon Brown upped our taxes with the promise of a better NHS but instead is now cutting back health services. This tax and axe approach cannot go on.” David Cameron has promised that a Conservative government would protect Sussex hospitals from these cuts. What Jason has done: * Worked with local MPs Charles Hendry, Nick Herbert, Nicholas Soames and Nigel Waterson to oppose NHS cuts * Joined rallies and protests against cuts at the Princess Royal Hospital and Eastbourne District General Hospital * Held an NHS Action Day in Wivelsfield, Lewes and Seaford to get people signing a national petition against Labour’s NHS cuts
