Save Berwick

Labour want to build 7,000 houses in the village of Berwick. The move, backed by Norman Baker and the Lib Dems, would destroy the village and damage the surrounding countryside.

“This is a massive overdevelopment and once it happens we can never get the countryside that will have been lost back again,” said Jason. “The Lib Dems tried to do this on a smaller scale in Wivelsfield and now once again they supporting efforts to concrete over another local village. I fought them in Wivelsfield and I will fight them in Berwick too.”

“I’m very concerned about the plans for Berwick – they will ruin beautiful Sussex countryside that we can never, ever replace. I want this stopped.”
